Zinc Stearate TM
This zinc stearate (C36 H70 O4 Zn) is a metallic additive, we speak of metallic "salt" of fatty acid.
It is a white hydrophobic solid that repels water. It is insoluble in polar solvents such as alcohol or ether, but dissolves well when hot in aromatic solvents.
It is a powerful release agent.
