Vybar 260 Additive for molded candles

Different types of Vybar (Vybar 103, Vybar 260, etc.) are available, each suited to a specific type of wax or candle (pillar, container, etc.).

🧪 Recommended dosage: Vybar 260 (for container candles): 0.5 to 1% of the total wax weight.

⚠️ Too much Vybar can reduce fragrance throw, as it retains fragrance oils.

🕯️ Usage:

• Melt the wax (paraffin, soy, etc.) to the recommended temperature.

• Add Vybar once the wax is fully melted.

  • It melts between 65°C and 75°C, so there is no need for excessive heating.

• Stir gently but thoroughly until the Vybar is fully incorporated.

• Add dyes and fragrances afterwards (Vybar improves pigment dispersion).

• Pour into the mold or container at the usual pouring temperature.

Advantages:

• Better dispersion of dyes.

• Fewer bubbles or white spots (frosting).

• Smoother and shinier surface.

• Improves opacity and hardness of the candle.

• Reduces bubble or cavity formation.

Disadvantages:

• Overdosing prevents proper fragrance throw.

• Not suitable for all natural waxes (e.g., pure soy wax without additives).
